horrible allergy season

so i've been suffering from a sore throat, sinus problem, and mucus abundance. i thought i was coming down with a cold but it was the stinking pollen that was doing it. one bad thing about NC is that the trees spray their plant spermatazoa everywhere... on a good day your whole car will be chalky yellow from it.

so lately, it's been raining and i've been feeling a little better since the tree sperm has been settling but i really don't like the colder weather. aghhhhh...

so for my painting class, if finished my last project but the instructor must have really hated it because he full-on criticized me on it. i don't really feel like posting it...it's just a blue octopus. i have no idea what to do for my last project which is going to be mixed-media with modeling paste.

well then...

I had a great time at the retreat this past weekend even though I was extremely tired on the second day. I got to mingle with lots of people..it was fun.

so now i'm in my mythology class not listening to my professor talk about the trojan war.

i'm in mucus-overload mode because of all the pollen.

oh and i might work the night-shift at harris teeter. it's from 11PM-7AM but since my classes start either at 1:30 or 3:00, i think i should be okay. i have to send in the application.

not much else to write about, i guess....

oh, i'm painting a blue octopus for my 4th painting. i don't like being criticized by the professor though. especially after seeing his work which i didn't really like all that much. would they even show up if you googled his name? lope max? i don't know. i'll try after this

and yay, no school on friday even though i only have one class on that day anyway..

finally, self-portrait

 so i finally brought back my painting and have taken a picture of it.

the comments i got when we were peer-reviewed was that it looks like i am getting electrocuted.

and now the next painting is due the thursday of next week and i have no idea what to do. it's supposed to be inspired from a painting we saw at Artscape, the art gallery in downtown...

Texture Painting

This is my first project. ugh...urban landscape. I didn't enjoy it.

I finally took a picture of my 2nd project for my painting class.

I like it better than the first project I did which was urban landscape.

The next project is self-portrait. eek!
